We will be starting the Story of the World Vol. 1 by Susan Wise Bauer in the next few weeks. We will be making a lapbook, timeline and doing the activity guide along with it.
I have made an outline breaking the chapters into lessons and adding some details that I feel are missing. I have added to the beginning starting with evolution and the Paleolithic and Neolithic Eras(obviously feel free to eliminate these if it goes against religious beliefs).
I am going to try to organize our lapbook by Empire/date (this might get a little tricking when empires fall and then rise again!) Hopefully each page will be organized something like this:
I will post a link to the outline that I have so far. It is just general topics that I want to discuss and put in the lapbook.
I have not quite figured out the timeline but I will post once I have.
I plan on blogging by lesson with pictures of lapbook, timeline and any activities we did. I will also post links to sources that we have used and printables.
